CBH just completes shield wire splices and installation
of armor rod repairs for Dominion on fiber optic lines.
CBH hires two additional LiDAR and ortho-imaging
processors to handle increasing demand for imaging services.
CBH External Load Services CBH has just
completed shield wire work in the mountains for Dominion
Resources.
CBH was involved with removing and replacing insulators,
replacing pole grounds between the shield wire and split
bolts, and replacing loose and missing cotter keys.
CBH External Load Services just completes
the installation of 22 aerial marker balls for Dominion
Resources.
The aerial
marker balls were installed along 300 foot spans over
the James
River Bridge in Virginia. Please call the main office

CBH
Imaging Resources takes delivery of a third LiteMapper LiDAR
system.
This new LM5600 IGI
LiDAR product is capable of 240Khz scan rates and 60 megapixel
nadir imagery.

External Load Services now offers energized and non-energized
insulator washing services. Using the Hughes 500 and
MD 500 helicopters, CBH External Load Services now offers
high
pressure washing services.
CBH External Load Services is Contracted by Dominion Resources for Major
Repairs along the James River Bridge.
On July 2, 2009 - CBH
External Load Services was contracted by Dominion
Resources to repair major storm damage along vertical
230Kv circuits parallel to the James River Bridge in Newport
News. This work involved helicopter activity along 300'
towers adjacent to the bridge and over the James River.
CBH External Load Services ferried men and equipment to
the tower structures, slung insulators and other supplies
to the tower arms, pulled lead line for new conductors,
repaired shield wire and removed aerial marker balls. The
project lasted just over three weeks and we were proud to
support Dominion in their efforts to get the damage repaired.
CBH External Load Services is a sister company
of Chesapeake Bay Helicopters and is actively involved in
powerline maintenance services, Classes
A, B
and C
- external load.
CBH is offering Air Charters under our 135 certificate.
CBH obtains FAA 135 Air
Carrier Certificate. CBH has applied for and obtained our
FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate which permits us to
carry passengers for hire. Our 135 certificate will also
enable us to qualify for fire contracts and other government
work.
CBH External Load Services, LLC Obtains 133 Rotorcraft External
Load Operating Certificate.

Our comprehensive patrols are more detailed than the corona
and infra-red inspections and rely on experienced pilots
and observers with many years of experience.
Chesapeake Bay Helicopters and CBH Imaging team up with
large company to provide LiDAR data collection and processing
services under a multi-year contract.
We are pleased to announce
that CBH Imaging is providing thousands of miles of
LiDAR data and processing services to a rapidly growing,
U.S. based company. The LiDAR data will be used to analyze
and mitigate vegetation issues and will be utilized in other
ways to promote each utility company's reliability.
Chesapeake Bay Helicopters and CBH Imaging purchase
a Cessna 207 and a new LiDAR unit for enhanced data gathering
capabilities.
Our new Cessna 207 and LiDAR system (along with a high resolution
nadir camera) are now online and available for projects

Chesapeake
Bay Helicopters and CBH Imaging expand its processing capabilities.
We have obtained and remodeled
additional facilities, increased data storage capacities
and developed additional technical data workstations. This
is in response to an increasing demand for CBH's LiDAR,
video
and ortho
data collection and processing services.

Imaging Resources opens a new helicopter base in Charleston,
WV!
We will offer the following
services with our Bell Jet Ranger helicopter: Part gas leak
detection and aerial filming with a Cineflex HD camera.
CBH
Imaging Resources has ordered another three sensor camera
unit with upgraded HD video technology. This
camera will be utilized throughout the United States for
specialized utilities inspection and aerial filming work.

Conducts Gas Leak Services -
CBH Imaging Resources now conducts gas
leak detection services, both on the ground
and in the air.
CBH
is proud to announce a new Student Helicopter Patrol program.
CBH will provide a minimum of 20 free hours of helicopter
PIC (pilot in command) patrol time to any student paying
for at least 100 hours of flight instruction. The pilot/student
requirements for participating in this program are:
• At least a Private Pilot Helicopter license at the
time of the patrol.
• Having paid for at least 100 flight hours at normal
CBH rates.
• Students who finance flight training are eligible
for the patrol program.
• M-1 visa students are eligible for the patrol program.
Some guidelines for the program are:
• Student participants will be provided at least 20
hours of free flight time, on patrol.
• ALL patrol flights will have a qualified flight
instructor onboard the aircraft.
• Student participants will be required to undergo
pipeline observer training.
• Students who complete the patrol program will be
considered for employment positions ahead of other students
and outside employment sources.

Bay Helicopters and CBH Imaging Resources have teamed up
in the upstart of a new commercial helicopter company called
CBH External Load Services
This new company will offer
expanded utility services with Hughes 500 helicopters and
will operate between our main base in Chesapeake, VA to
other bases in Charleston, WV and Pittsburgh, PA. We will
be installing a brand new tri-sensor camera gimbal
to this aircraft which will be moving all over the United
States for aerial patrol work on electric transmission lines

Chesapeake

contract with major electric utility in the northeastern
United States. CBH
has been contracted for thousands of miles of powerline

Chesapeake
Bay Helicopters provides Emergency Response Services to
Dominion Virginia Power after devastating tornados.
After tornados touched down in
Suffolk, VA and in Richmond, VA, CBH spent many hours in
the air with Dominion Virginia Power assessing the storm
damage. We have recently extended our multi-year contract
with Dominion which includes such services as Emergency
and Disaster Response, LiDAR, Infra-red, Corona, Day TV,
Comprehensive Patrols, ortho-mosaic imagery and gas leak
patrol services. CBH has been a Dominion service provider
for ten years and we are proud of the association that we
have as a primary data service provider for powerline and
pipeline information.
CBH
performs gas leak patrol for East Resources in West Virginia.
CBH provided detailed gas
leak services patrols to East Resources as part of a pipeline
pressure change project. We appreciate being affiliated
with East Resources and look forward to future endeavors.
CBH
performs special powerline patrol projects for First Energy
in PA, NY and OH. First Energy has recently contracted with
CBH for aerial services patrols. We
are pleased that First Energy found the information useful
and we appreciate their decision to contact CBH for their
detailed patrol needs.

partners in NC. Many
thanks to our NC customers who fly with us on a monthly
