This fuel injected version has
now replaced the carbureted
version known as the
300CB. The fuel injection system has better correlation,
and more power (because there is no carb heat power consumption)
and we have found that it even flies a little faster and
has a better climb rate! The 300CBi boasts the lowest life
cycle costs of any
production helicopter on the market today.
With the 300CBi, you don't sacrifice versatility for cost.
The 300CBi is built from the same platform that has made
the
300C famous and comes in 2- or 3- place seating. The 300CBi
is a 180 hp version of the 300C. The result is longer
component life (most 4,200 or higher) and lower acquisition
and operating costs! Resale value is exceptionally higher
than that of the Robinson R-22!
Schweizer Aircraft developed the Model 300CBi specifically
for personal transportation and the commercial helicopter
training markets. The model 300CBi retains all of the superb
flight handling, reliability, and safety characteristics
of the Schweizer Model 300C but for many owners, at the lowest
life cycle cost of any current production helicopter.
The 300CBi boasts the lowest life-cycle costs of any production
helicopter on the market today! The Schweizer 300CBi is a
180hp version of the venerable 300C model. The 300CBi has
lower acquisition cost, lower hourly operating costs, and
longer component lives. The 300CBi systems are simpler, which
makes the 300CBi easy to maintain. The 300CBi has fuel
injection which provides better correlation, no need for
carb heat, more power, better climb rate, and faster airspeed.
The 300CBi also comes standard with the STAR system for engine
management, start up overspeed limiter, and automatic engaging
rotor system!

The Schweizer 300CBi is a versatile aircraft. Whether you are
using it for commercial operations or personal use, the 300CBi allows you more
flexibility. You can use
the aircraft for flight training and still have the useful load and performance
capability to fly commercial operations. This means you have more ways to generate
income as a commercial operator. And that means more revenue!
The Schweizer 300CBi has a safe, smooth, and forgiving three-bladed,
fully articulated
rotor system with trim control. News stations prefer the multi-bladed systems
because they are smooth, resulting in steady pictures. It also allows pilots
to easily and safely maintain rotor RPM levels without the use of a governor.
Conventional flight controls. The 300CBi has the same as basic control
configuration that you will see in any larger commercial helicopter. This makes
transitions
easier. Conventional flight controls also reduce pilot fatigue.
I need more room in the cockpit! You've got it. The 300CBi has the same roomy
cabin as the 300C model. The 300CBi can actually be configured for three people
as an option. The 300CB also has more than adequate headroom (for helmet use)
and offset pedals for you taller folks.
You don't need to empty your pockets before getting in this aircraft. The
300CBi has 662 lbs. of useful load, with an upfront cabin weight of 600 lbs.
This allows
operators the flexibility and versatility that missions require.
