The 300 series helicopters are regarded as the best piston
powered helicopters for training and light utility on the
market today. With Schweizer Aircraft Corporation's proven

Schweizer models 300C and 300CB/300CBi are available from
Chesapeake Bay Helicopters, Inc., and give you the most
versatility for your dollar in a piston powered machine.
The Schweizer 300CB/300CBi
was developed from the 300C.
It has all the built-in safety features of all Schweizer
helicopters but is the most cost-effective aerial platform.
Whether you are using a handheld system or an exterior gimbal
mounted camera system, the 300CB/300CBi provides a stable
aerial platform with its three-bladed rotor system. The
300CB/300CBi is limited by its useful load and seating capacity
(2) but can be configured for an exterior mounted gimbal
system within some limitations.
The 300CB/300CBi is also an outstanding platform
for a handheld camera. The 300CB, like the 300C,
is the widest helicopter in its class. The 300 series helicopters
provide the same great safety features found on the 333
in a smaller more cost-effective package.
The 300C model has all the same great features found
on all Schweizer products.It is a bit more versatile
than the 300CB/300CBi. Its higher useful load (950 lbs.)
allows for more versatility for utility operations and additional
equipment. We recommend the use of the 300C for carrying
heavy broadcast equipment.
The 300 series helicopters are the safest piston
powered helicopters available to consumers. According
to NTSB reports the 300 series helicopters are the safest
piston helicopters in the world. They have been proven.
The military has used the 300 series, also known as the
269 and TH-55, for use as trainers and light utility aircraft
for decades. As with all Schweizer products, there are no
special FAA safety restrictions on these aircraft. That
says a lot. Schweizer Aircraft Corporation has designed
these aircraft to perform high above standard requirements.
